Reviews | Take Away Their Ammunition
If you take away the "ammunition" of the "enemy," it removes the pain for you--and the element of surprise.
DISCLAIMER: Normally happy-go-lucky Bradley is getting down and dirty in this episode.
We're going to play devil's advocate here. However, since we're already writing something like an "opposite" book or a silly, joke, "worst" book, how can we be critical of something we don't care about?
This isn't fun at all, but imagine for a moment your toughest critic of your best book or your product or service. Let's say they have a valid point and they have found our weakness and they are going to expose it. What can we do?
- Ostrich: ignore it and hope it goes away.
- Squirrel: focus on something else.
- Puppy: smile and pretend it doesn't matter.
- Hyena: let the damage be done, sulk a bit then go back in later for the kill.
- Lion: attack first.
Notice how the animals get increasingly menacing?
